Protecting your identity

We want you to feel safe when you're on BongoShare, which is why we encourage you to let us know if videos or comments on the site violate your privacy or sense of safety.

If someone posted your personal information or uploaded a video of you without your knowledge (including in private or sensitive circumstances), ask the uploader to remove the content. If you can’t reach an agreement with the uploader, or if you're uncomfortable contacting them, you can contact and request BongoShare to remove it (you must have a strong evidence for your claim). 

Criteria for removing content

For content to be considered for removal, an individual must be uniquely identifiable and that individual, or their legal representative, must submit the complaint. If you want to complain to us make sure that you're uniquely identifiable within the content when using the privacy complaint process. When assessing if an individual is uniquely identifiable, we consider the following factors:

• Image or voice
• Full name
• Financial information
• Contact information
• Other personally identifiable information

When you report a privacy complaint, we consider public interest, newsworthiness, and consent as factors in our final decision, as well as whether the videos show a person’s moment of death or critical injury.

To respect the privacy and memory of deceased users, we consider requests from the closest family members or legal representatives upon verification of the individual’s death.

Tips on how to protect your privacy on BongoShare:

• Think carefully before you post personal information. This includes examples such as the town you live in, where you go to school, and your home address.
• Protect your account data and don’t share your password with others. BongoShare employees will never ask you for your password. Don’t be fooled if someone reaches out to you pretending to be from BongoShare.
• Get permission first. Get permission before filming other people or posting their personal information.
• Create your channel with Stronger security password and trusted email account to keep your accounts secured through.
• Be careful and don’t upload or post on BongoShare, anything that may bring community strike, or cause any harm to others.

Creator responsibility

Creators are the heart of BongoShare. As a creator on BongoShare, you agree to follow our guidelines and terms of use.

It’s important that you understand our guidelines and their role, Violating these guidelines may result in your videos being deleted and  your channel being restricted and terminated.

Earn money on your content

Creators who want to monetize content have to follow monetization guidelines. By respecting these guidelines, you’ll help us to prevent potentially inappropriate videos from monetizing, which can hurt revenue for everyone. If you don’t follow these guidelines, it may lead you to incur penalties, such as disabling ads on your content, or suspending your channel.

Protect the BongoShare  community

As a BongoShare creator, you should remain responsible both on and off the platform. If we see that a creator’s on- and/or off-platform behavior harms our users, community, employees or ecosystem, we may take action to protect the community.

Beyond the content you upload to BongoShare, here are some examples of on- and/or off-platform behavior that we may consider to be inappropriate and result in penalties:

• Intending to cause malicious harm to others.
• Participating in abuse or violence, demonstrating cruelty, or participating in fraudulent or deceptive behavior that leads to real-world harm.

While these behaviors are rare, they can cause widespread harm to the BongoShare community, and potentially damage the trust among creators, users, and advertisers.

Severe violations that cause widespread harm to the BongoShare community may have repercussions beyond standard enforcement actions.

What information do we collect?

Our System collects names, address, Email, Phone numbers, ID, and Payment (Bank details), all data collected are for the system proper usage.

How do we use personal information?

Our system must register you in order for you to upload content

Our System must register your bank or Paypal details for you to monetize your content and to receive your royalties.

Our system must register you in order to buy or rent monetized content.

When do we share personal data?

Our system maintain all user data confidentially and secured, unless otherwise required or instructed by the law.
